This class will focus on the Five Section Yang Style solo form: a short yet thorough set that can be done seated or standing. Various qigong and warmup exercises will be included as well. This class is open to all levels of experience, health, and abilities - and you can start at any time.

The Tai Chi form will be taught by Jeff Muiderman, Jim Madras, and Erica Anderson, who have been developing this class over the last few months with assistance from Maureen Kelly, PT. The goal is to make the numerous health benefits and mind/body coordinations of Tai Chi accessible for people of all levels of ability and mobility.

Benefits of Tai Chi include:

- lowering blood pressure
- increasing immune function
- improving flexibility
- increasing the suppleness of the spine and internal organs
- improving mental clarity

But probably the best benefit: Tai Chi can be practiced by anybody, at any time, in any condition. Developing skill in this art is all about practice, study, and perseverance.

Find comfort and freedom in your own body while experiencing the age old art of Tai Chi.
