Tai Chi Push Hands | Taijiquan Tui Shou
Thursdays, 6:00 – 7:30 pm | $50 per month (includes Qigong & Jue Shou classes)
Push Hands (Tui Shou) is the umbrella name for Taijiquan’s barehand partner work. Training is done is a safe, cooperative, non-competitive environment, and is a wonderful vehicle for deepening your study of Qigong, the Taijiquan solo form, other martial arts, bodywork…or for anyone interested in connection in general.
The traditional Yang Style Push Hands curriculum includes:
- Ba Pan Jia Zi (Eight Disc Method, or the ‘1-8′ Preparatory Drills)
- Si-zheng Tui-shou (Four Hands)
- Da Lu (Large Rollback)
- Taiji San-shou (attack and defend form)

Tai Chi Sensing Hands | Taijiquan Jue Shou
Every other Tuesday, 6:00 – 7:30 pm | $25 per month
Sensing Hands is a practice method for exploring connection with another person, as well as studying receptivity in your own body. Touch quality, intention, and tactile ‘listening’ skills are just part of this process. Beginners and all levels of Taijiquan practitioners are welcome. As well as bodyworkers, students of other martial arts…or anyone interested in connection.

Sensing Hands Qigong | Jue Shou Qigong
Every other Tuesday, 6:00 – 7:30 pm | $25 per month
We’ll be looking at various points, joints, and gates to get the body relaxed, connected, and the qi moving freely. No experience necessary; this is a great class for beginners, folks who already have a qigong practice, and those in chronic pain. Fantastic work for fibromyalgia & arthritis.
