Taijiquan (also seen as T'ai Chi, T'ai Chi Ch'uan, Tai Chi, or Taiji) is a martial art that trains the practitioner to use the body in a relaxed, comfortable, and inherently powerful way. Solo forms are generally practiced quite slowly, to allow careful study of physical and energetic coordination. Formalized movement sequences like the '108' (the Yang Style Long Form) or the 5 Section Solo Form* provide a structure to practice and train the mind/body connection.

Taijiquan partner work emphasizes "sticking energy" to develop deep listening, understanding and receiving skills for connecting with another person. The Natural Arts Center teaches the Yang Style Taijiquan Full Curriculum and the Five Section Taijiquan Curriculum.
